The truss booth system can typically be set-up by two to three people who are familiar with the truss booth system, and the only tool required would be a steel hammer.
The truss booth can be expanded to a larger size by adding additional pieces from our F23 Triangular Aluminum Truss series. Our line of 35mm 1.37″ – Clamps were developed explicitly for this truss system.
Guidelines for Safe Use of the Truss Booth 10×10 F23-101
It is essential to follow the guidelines to ensure the safe and effective use of the Truss Booth 10×10 F23-101.
1. Load Capacity: Do not exceed the specified load capacity of the Truss Booth 10×10 F23-101. All loads must be distributed equally between both cords.
2. Inspection: Before use, thoroughly inspect the truss for damage or defects. If any damage is found, the truss must immediately be taken out of service and marked with “DO NOT USE.”
3. Handling: Handle the truss segments carefully and cautiously. Avoid dropping, dragging, or stacking them on top of each other.
4. Assembly: Those familiar with trussing techniques should only carry out Truss assembly.
5. Coupler Connectors: Do not attach the truss with damaged coupler connectors or fewer connectors than required. Ensure the coupler connectors are installed correctly, and the coupler pin and cotter pins are secured.
6. Design and Rigging: When designing and rigging truss systems, consider the effects of transverse forces, such as wind load.
7. Compatibility: Using trusses or parts from different manufacturers is prohibited.
8. Professional Review: The purchase of this product does not authorize or approve a specific installation or use of the aluminum box truss. A licensed professional engineer must review all structures, lighting plots, or other aluminum truss uses.
STRUCTURE HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR MAX RIGGING OF 65 POUNDS PER LINEAR FOOT ON EACH SPAN. RIGGING ASSUMES NO BRIDLING. WHEN USING A REAR SCRIM, THE STRUCTURE REQUIRES 800 LBS. BALLAST ON EACH CORNER OR ANCHORAGE TO CONCRETE SLAB.
