EVT290A-BCON | Truss Connector for Base Plates

The EVT290A-BCON is a specialized aluminum half-conical connector designed to secure EVT290S 290 mm square truss (and compatible systems) to base plates. Serving as the foundational link in your rigging structure, this connector bolts directly onto aluminum or steel base plates, providing the necessary receiving point for truss pillars, totems, and arch bases.

Function & Assembly:

This connector features a single-sided conical coupling with a central bolt hole. It is installed using the included M10 x 20mm bolt (1.5 Thread Pitch). The bolt is inserted through the underside of the base plate and threaded into the connector. Once tightened, it creates a rigid, upright connection point that accepts the standard truss conical receiver. It is the essential hardware required to “stand up” vertical truss sections safely.

Material Specifications:

The half-coupler body is precision-machined from high-grade Aluminum Alloy 6061-T6, known for its excellent machinability and mechanical strength. The core connection bolt is composed of Steel Grade S45C, ensuring maximum tensile strength for the anchor point.
